TINA IS PROUD TO SUPPORT BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES

Support Black-Owned Businesses Archive

Born during Black History Month, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical’s new year-round initiative supports local Black-owned businesses. In partnership with the cast, creative team, and producers of TINA, we are striving to create more opportunities for communities beyond the four walls of our theatre.

Each month, we’ll shine our spotlight on a different local black owned business. If you own a business or would like to tell us about one in your community, fill out the form below.

Aysha Bell Wellness

BUSINESS: Aysha Bell Wellness

Coming from a long line of healers and psychics, Aysha’s energy is truly inspirational – and infectious. Whether you’re attending her yoga sessions, meditation workshops, sound healing or breathwork classes, it’s impossible to walk away feeling anything other than centred, restored and rejuvenated. It’s no wonder her classes and retreats fill up so quickly. Her practice is based on somatic therapy – channelling the energy of the universe to help clients connect body and mind and become more present in their lives.

Aysha’s regular classes are run from her studio in (the Refinerye9) Hackney. She also runs popular retreats in locations both in the UK and around the world. She firmly believes that life should be balanced – and fun. Everyone is welcome, no matter skill level or lifestyle choices. Her classes are a brave, fun, warm and vibrant community where emphasis is on safety and connection in a nurturing and friendly environment. Come in, kick off your shoes, stretch out those shoulders, and breathe.

Good Guys Decorating

BUSINESS: Good Guys Decorating

Good Guys Decorating is a painting and decorating business that gives back to the community and young people all across London, by taking a percentage of our profits from each paid job we get and once a month painting the bedroom of a young person living in poverty or someone suffering with mental health issues free of charge.

Cyle, the founder, launched Good Guys Decorating in 2018 because he wanted to create and use a platform to do more for others and not just himself. When he started all he could offer was his time as it was just him on his own painting but after a lot of good publicity the business are now sponsored by Very Uk and are being supported by Dulux Decorating Centre and Dunelms Uk , which means as part of our givebacks they are able to provide the families with new necessary items for their homes and in many cases they have completely gutted out homes and replaced everything for them with brand new stuff. To be able to do the work we do they need paid work so please think of us when your next painting project comes up because by choosing Good Guys Decorating you are choosing to help others.
